Chemistry / Toxicology

NWETC's Chemistry and Toxicology courses provide an overview of key chemistry concepts associated with environmental contamination.  These key concepts provide a foundation for understanding contaminant fate, transport and transformations in the environment and in living organisms.  The contaminants discussed in these courses include organic and inorganic compounds as well PFAS (a group of man-made chemicals which includes PFOA, PFOS, GenX, and many others).
